It is also interesting to go fishing with the locals. Hunting is not recommended, as it carries many risks and dangers.
A visit to the Brokopondo Reservoir is also worthwhile, although seeing the drowned land may be shocking for some participants. Such a drastic devastation caused by human actions could perhaps have been approached with more respect and appreciation for nature.
